Dr. Lorrin Lee was born and raised in Honolulu. He graduated valedictorian from Maryknoll High School and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University. After working for a Harvard affiliate research lab in Boston for a year, he earned his medical degree from St. Louis University. He then completed his general surgery internship and Orthopaedic residency training here in Hawai’i. After completing his residency, he pursued additional training as an Orthopaedic Trauma fellow with the Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeons of Northern California in Sacramento, California. In addition to being a board-certified staff physician at Island Orthopaedics, Dr. Lee is an assistant professor at the University of Hawai’i John A. Burns School of Medicine and is the Program Director for the University of Hawai'i Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Lee provides emergency trauma coverage at The Queen’s Medical Center, Queen's Medical Center West, Kuakini Medical Center, Castle Medical Center and Straub Medical Center. He also serves as team physician for Maryknoll High School.
